Zunächst hab ich über meine Krinoline einen Unterrock aus weißer, dünner Bettwäsche genäht, denn sonst drücken sich die Reifen auf dem Rock durch. Unten habe ich eine Reihe Rüschen angesetzt, damit der Rock unten nicht einfällt. Der Unterrock hat links und rechts zwei Schlitze, da ich beim Überrock keine Taschen plane und so meine 18. Jahrhundert Taschen nutzen kann.
I started with a petticoat made out of a thin, white bed sheet. I added a row of ruffles at the bottom, that supports the skirt and looks beautiful. There are two slices on the right and left side for pockets, because I do not plan pockets in the skirt and so I can use my 18th century pockets.
Mein Schnittmuster ist aus dem ‚Pattern Of Fashion‘. Dazu habe ich ein Probeteil erstellt. Tatsächlich musste ich nichts vergrößern, mir passte er direkt.
My pattern is out of ‚Pattern Of Fashion‘. I made a mock up and actually could use the original pattern without changing the size.
Wie man sehen kann ist der Rock bereits fertig, aber es bleibt wohl nicht so viel dazu zu sagen, denn es sind mehrere eckige Stoffbahnen, zusammengenäht und gestiftelt in den Rockbund eingenäht.
As you can see is my skirt finished. What can I say about it? It is the same as the petticoat, some sqared fabric pieces, sewn together and everything I made cartridge pleating to add it to the waistband.
Das Oberteil ist hier nur teilweise genäht und vieles noch gesteckt, hauptsächlich um die Abnäher zu kontrollieren. Als Verschluss habe ich einen Haken-Ösen-Verschluss gewählt, das ist zwar mühsam, dafür liegt das alles schön versteckt.
The Bodice is not finished yet, there are many parts just pinned. I had to control the position of the tucks. I used hooks and eyes as closure. It is a lot of work, but I love the fact that it is hidden.
Damit ist das Oberteil fertig. Es ist komplett gefüttert bis auf die Ärmel. Damit der Rock und das Oberteil nicht klaffen habe ich hier ebenfalls Haken und Ösen angebracht, um beide Teile zu verbinden.
And with that the bodice is finished. It is completly lined except the sleeves. I added some hooks and eyes to the skirt and bodice bottom to keep them together while moving.
Zeit um etwas Dekoration drauf zu packen. Ich habe eine schöne Borte mit Fransen gefunden, sowie einen weißen Spitzenkragen, der das ganze etwas aufpeppt.
Time for decoration! I found a nice fringe trim and a white lace that I use as collar.
